Scholarships

Need-based scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Scholarships cover up to 80% of registration fees.

We prioritize these registration discounts to girls who qualify for free or reduced meals (FARMs) at school. To verify income, we request you send us a copy of the letter sent by school districts confirming this status. Please send documentation to see@umbc.edu. We will notify you of the discount award and camp fee upon confirmation of FARMs status.

Students who are not eligible for Free and Reduced Meals may also apply for scholarships. If you would like to request registration fee assistance, please visit http://www.howgirlscode.com/scholarships, complete the form and we will be in touch with you.
